I Love Edward Cullen
As much as I try to be an "adult," part of me is still a teenybopper at heart, and I do love a good teenage romance. So I got this book Twilight - it's a vampire love story. As soon as I started it last night, I could not put it down. I was actually annoyed that I had to sleep at some point and in my sleep, I dreamed about reading this book so I could keep the story going. Laugh all you want, but it was such pleasant dreaming, and I know that just means I'm obsessed by this story and these characters. Needless to say, I picked it up again as soon as I woke up. And yes, some of the dialogue is cheesy. And yes, it's got the bigger print and large margins. And yes, it's supposed to be for young adults. But it gives me that feeling of a good Jane Austen book, with that dashing hero who sweeps you off your feet kind of romanticism (except he happens to be a vampire in this case) mixed with some Romeo and Juliet for the star-crossed lovers and Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the modern day and age. I know you Jane Austen/chick lit/romance lovers out there - go read this book! Soon you'll be saying you love Edward Cullen, too.

Jennie - It's a great book. I definitely recommend it.
Kelly - Have you read it? I think any girl/woman who reads it has to love him. He's the romantic ideal.
